WHO WE ARE

While maintaining the rich heritage of proclaiming the Gospel from its early days, Faith Baptist Church (FBC), an independent congregation, is relevant to today’s generation in presenting the Truth of God’s Word in all its purity and power.

Pastor Denny Mallonee preaches in simple language to young and old and services are filled with the friendly and welcoming congregation who love singing of the majesty of a loving Savior. Training the youth is paramount in the emphasis of the church. Using the modern tools of radio and internet, as well as van routes in outreach is part of the present-day method of being a vibrant part of the surrounding community.

Having a heart for world-wide and home missions,  FBC supports and assists in proclaiming a salvation message to the uttermost part of the world through an effective faith promise program.

If you are looking for a solid faith foundation, based on God’s Word, you will find just what you need at Beaver Springs Faith Baptist Church.

WHERE WE ARE

Situated in Central Pennsylvania in the beautiful valley flanked on the south by Shade Mountain and on the north by Jacks Mountain, the church has its roots in the early settlement of the village in the late 1700s and early 1800s when a log church occupied the corner just east of the current location of Faith Baptist Church. Snyder County history gives the details up to today as the red brick church with the white steeple on the hill which is considered the oldest standing building in the village of Beaver Springs.

Visitors and members arrive at their destination by traveling southwest from Middleburg or northeast from McClure on State Route 522. Turning south at Elm Street in Beaver Springs, Faith Baptist is just two blocks off Route 522. Continue straight at stop sign and go one more block where there is an old cemetery with a stone wall, you will see a sign for Faith Baptist Church with an arrow pointing right onto Snyder Avenue. You will see the red brick church with the white steeple just ahead at the corner of Walnut Street. A parking lot is located just before you reach the church on the right, across from the WFBM Studio building. Handicap parking is available directly outside the church entrances.
