About
WFBM, a non-commercial, educational radio network was established to provide its listening area with inspirational and educational family-oriented programming and music, as well as community-based news, weather, local events, and programs which will strengthen both family and community. WFBM’s financial account, in its entirety, is funded by donations from the listening community.
History
Established in 2004 as a 100 watt low power FM station, WFBM began broadcasting a format of Gospel music and Bible preaching throughout the valley as a ministry of Beaver Springs Faith Baptist Church.
Listeners on the fringe areas began asking for better reception in their vicinities so they could enjoy the Christian radio station also.
“Expanding for Heaven in 2011” was the theme that kicked off the growth of local outreach from 100 watts to obtaining two more frequencies and towers where the output increased to 1500 watts and now covers the areas including:
• Beaver Springs/Richfield on WFBM, 90.5 FM
• Kulpmont/Mt. Carmel in Northumberland County on WFBA 90.5 FM
• Susquehanna Valley region of Selinsgrove at WFBV 90.1 FM
This Gospel Radio network of three stations forms Wonderful Faith Bible Ministries, an outreach of Beaver Springs Faith Baptist Church.
Our Main Events
Thank You, Listeners, For a Successful 2026 Sharathon, Raising About $50,000!
WFBM Radio Network staff and management want to thank our radio family for their outstanding support during our 15th Annual Sharathon held February 19 – 22. With mailed donations expected this week, we are confident the goal of $50,000 will be reached. As of Sunday, $47,000 was pledged.
The activity of greeting guests and visitors during this 4-day event was such a blessing! Our grateful thanks go to our Faith Baptist Church family, broadcasters, community leaders, pastors and listeners for taking time to come to celebrate and support WFBM Radio Network.
Special thanks go to everyone who participated in Name the Theme contest by submitting suggestions for the 2026 Sharathon. The winner was 12-year-old, Rosswell Snook with his theme of Faith in Action for a Better Tomorrow.
We again were blessed with another special live broadcast of Friday’s Stand in the Gap Today with the SIG team attending live, Honorable Sam Rohrer, Pastor Gary Dull, Evangelist David Kistler and Isaac Crockett. Numerous community leaders attended, including Rep. David Rowe, a live phone call from PA Treasurer Stacy Garrity and other local officials.
Gospel music is the predominant feature on all of the three stations, WFBM, WFBV and WFBA and live gospel music was enjoyed by everyone listening from home and attending the open house during the 4-day event. The Saturday concert featured singing artists, Deborah Kline, Faith Singers, Vessels of Mercy and The Nottingham Four.
Guests were graciously received as they made their pledges of support and were offered a variety of thank you gifts for their donations. Fellowship with light snacks was enjoyed throughout the event.
